Pediatric Infectious Disease


The University of Utah School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics seeks up to 3 full-time members for the Division of Infectious Disease.

Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor rank, clinical or tenure track

M.D. applicants must be board certified with either fellowship or practice experience.

We seek:

  1. Clinician/teacher/scholars, whose primary duties would be clinical care and teaching. Protected time will be available for clinical or outcomes research and scholarly activity. Opportunities exist for a qualified candidate to have a role in the clinical microbiology laboratory.
  2. Clinician/scientists with a promising investigative career. Substantial research funding is available to support this faculty member’s laboratory and research start up. In time, the successful candidate would be expected to develop extramural funding and participate in the training of fellows and post-docs.
  3. Candidates with research background will be considered for NIH funded Children's Health Research Center Development Program.
