The Division of Pediatric
Emergency Medicine provides emergent and urgent care to children of all ages. Division members see medical, surgical, and trauma
patients within the Emergency Department at Primary Children's Medical Center, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The division also serves
as control physician for emergency transport with Life Flight air-medical service. The division also seeks to further the understanding
of acute illness and injury in children through research, increased awareness, and level of care for childhood illness and injury through
regional educational and advocacy efforts. |
