Research Specialists (Multiple Positions):


Recruits Study participants and conducts interviews in home and clinic visits.

  • administers in-person interviews to obtain exposure data
  • administers psychosocial measures with enrolled women and their partners
  • collects biologic samples
  • conducts physical examinations/measurements
  • provides training to Study participants in self-administered data collection (daily diaries, environmental samples & readings)

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in a health related field, biologic science, social science, or related field, or equivalency; plus experience in data and specimen collection. Must have strong computer skills. Preferences: experience interviewing; ability to speak Spanish; and familiarity with medical records, medical terminology, database tracking systems, and specimen collection; and prior experience in phlebotomy, preferably pediatric phlebotomy, or be willing to be trained.
