Conferences and didactic sessions provide a comprehensive core curriculumin all aspects of Pediatrics.
Morning Report
Morning report is an outstanding learning opportunity held three days per week from 8 to 9 a.m. General and subspecialty cases are discussed by the residents, faculty, and community pediatricians. Breakfast is provided.
Research in Progress
Held every Tuesday from September to May, Research In Progress enables faculty, fellows, and residents to present ongoing research projects. Breakfast is provided.
"Intern" Conference
Held weekly on Friday mornings during the first year of training, this lecture series provides basic skills as well as opportunities for productive and satisfying group interaction. This conference builds on the skills gained during the "Intern" retreat held in October.
Noon Conference
Noon conferences are held daily with lunch provided. Topics in general pediatrics, subspecialty issues as well as pediatric surgical subspecialties are presented by faculty. Interesting case conferences, presented by junior and senior residents, as well as journal club also occur at this time.
Grand Rounds
Held every Thursday through the academic year from 8 to 9 a.m. in the PCMC auditorium, Pediatric Grand Rounds features local, national and international speakers.

Morbidity and Mortality
This conference is held once monthly in the PCMC auditorium. Cases are prepared, discussed and reviewed by the pediatric Chief Residents. Second year residents present information relating to the cases of the month. Lunch is provided.
