- The Bright Horizons Back-Up Care Advantage program offers high-quality temporary care to University of Utah Health families whenever your usual child, adult, and elder care arrangements are unavailable.
- Can use the program up to 10 times per year for a minimal copay
- If Bright Horizons is unable to provide back-up care on date requested, employees may be reimbursed up to $100 per day to find their own alternative care through the My CareAssist program.
- Visit the App Store or Google Play and search for “back-up care” to download the Back-Up Care app by Bright Horizons Family Solutions.
To sign up for Bright Horizons Back-Up Care:
1. Click on the “Not Signed up yet? Register Now.” link.
2. On the next screen, enter your first-time username: UUHS.
3. Then enter your first-time password: backup
4. Click on “Verify Employer”.
5. Follow instructions.
